Halloween

Here is the requisite Halloween post. I gave in and took a few pictures. After all, it is my favorite holiday.
Frank provided a great deal of decorations for us this year. We made a whole bunch of pumpkins, and randomly stuck them on the wall.

This is one of my favorites. I especially like that none of his eyes are the same shape.

And of course, we had many, many, many drawings taped to the wall.
Bats:

Mummies:

And as a special treat, Frank drew a picture of himself with Elise (in costume):

I think he did a great job capturing the essence of each costume.

We carved pumpkins, very quickly, almost as an afterthought.

And here they are in their costumes. I had taken one picture of Frank at his school parade on Friday, but then I nearly forgot to take a picture of them on Halloween. I had to chase after them after they left to go trick-or-treating. I didn't manage to get a picture of myself, so you'll just have to imagine how cool I looked.
Elise as a princess (believe me, I tried to convince her to chose something else):

Check out her posture. It totally cracks me up. Throw those shoulder back, girl!

And Frank as a black widow (he was quick to correct anyone who mistakenly called him a spider):

The end.

  1. Both costumes are splendid! Elise is just stunning, and Frank is fantastic.

  2. so fun. I love Frank's drawings. He has some serious talent. And Elise's costume is totally not even in the same ball park as the typical princess get-up...ever so much cooler!
