For the record...

...You should never ever attempt to make a pinata while dying your hair.  It might seem like a good idea, but really it just doesn't work out.

Picture me.  With my hair full of green goop that smells like hay (I use henna to dye my hair).  And my hands covered in paper mache.  Trying to be really fast at making a pinata for pack meeting (a very simple basketball pinata).  While the green goop keeps dripping down my face and neck, laughing in the face of the cover that's supposed to keep it on my hair.  Pause, wash hands, wipe drips, go back to paper mache.  Repeat ad nauseam.  Finally finish pinata shape about 30 minutes after you normally would rinse the dye out.  I should have a nice red this time, since the henna was on for an hour and a half.  I usually stick with one hour. The box says you can keep it on your hair for up to four hours, but honestly, that's a long time to have green goop dripping everywhere.  Frankly, an hour and a half seemed like a long time.  Four hours would probably drive me bonkers.  But now I'm just rambling.

So learn from my mistakes.  Keep the hair dying and the pinata making strictly separate.
