I ran a 5K this morning. It was pretty fun. I finished in just over 32 minutes, but they'll post the official times later. (When I opened my front door this morning and saw that it was raining, I just about went back inside and climbed back in bed. Luckily it wasn't raining much, just a very light sprinkle.) Anyway, I have to keep registering for these race thingies because it's helping me to keep running a few times a week despite my relatively crazy schedule. My last 5K I think I was much closer to 37 minutes I think, so I was pretty happy with my time.
Anyone out there want to do a 5 mile race on my birthday (March 10)? It's part of the Pink Series and it supports breast cancer awareness. The registration fee is $30. If you want to do it, tell me soon because I'll have to work hard to add that extra two miles. I sort of like the three mile length, but if I had some extra motivation, I'm pretty sure I make it up to five. I think that will pretty much be my limit though. After a while, I just get bored, and I don't want to run anymore. I'm definitely no marathoner...
Update: Official time 32:40, which is a 10:30 split. I was 29/56 for my age group.

As much fun as that sounds *sarcasm*, I'll only be 3 or 4 weeks postpartum. I'm very proud of people who run though. I would rather ride my bike. I don't think they have 3 mile bike races though. :) I'm such a wuss. Hee hee!
