Ouch! or one more reason to have a side by side

So on Monday, Aaron had the day off, and I went grocery shopping without kids (Zen). I put away all the frozen stuff, and then proceeded to put the refrigerated stuff away. As I finished, I stood up, and apparently I hadn't shut the freezer tightly because it was open and my head connected with it in a most painful manner. I don't think I've had a head injury like that since I was a kid. The pain was intense, and the resulting goose egg was, I thought, impressive.

I have to admit, I think I'll be a little more sympathetic towards my kid's future head wounds now. It had been so long, I had forgotten exactly how painful it can be. So extra cuddles, and extra Tylenol for my kids from here on out for each and every head wound.
