Thoughts on Marriage (Frank's not mine)

We were in the car Wednesday night, and Frank announced that when he was grown up he was going to marry Elise. Ummm... probably not a good idea. So I told him that we don't usually marry our siblings, and he'll have to pick someone else. His reply: "But mom, Elise is so pretty." So nice, but still not okay. I told him he'll have to pick a different pretty girl. After thinking about this, he realized that he and Elise wouldn't live together when he was grown up, and he seriously was tearing up. He said if they didn't live together he would be sad and miss her so much. He was almost crying. So we talked to him about how I got to live with Kim and Marianne when I was little, but when we grow up we get to have our own family, but its okay, because we can still be good friends and visit each other. After a bit of talking he was okay. And I think he settled on Lily as a good substitution for Elise (hope Beka doesn't mind).

Where are these tender feelings when they are beating each other up on the floor over a kids meal toy???
