My favorite thing about school starting...

...that would have to be walking home from the bus stop after school.  Frank screams and whines the entire time about how hot it is, how he can't possible walk the entire way home, how I really should have driven the car to the bus stop to pick him up, how he is just going to die before he ever gets home, how school is boring, how I am a horrible person to make him walk, how he cannot walk one more step, etc, etc.  I think you get the idea.  It's top notch fun for all.  I look forward to another 180 school days worth of walking home from the bus stop.

    good luck...at least you will get a change of pace when he's whining because of how cold it is, and not how hot it is...

    Ya ha. He and Maxine should get together and have a pity party. She likes to complain about how hot it is to walk home from the bus. You're an awesome Mom! At least you go and walk home with him. I make walk home by herself.
