Basketball

So, it's December, and I thought I should look through my Dixie Direct book to see if there was anything else I wanted to take advantage of before the end of the year.  I noticed the coupon for two free people for a Dixie College sporting event, and thought maybe that would be fun.  Aaron looked up the schedule, and there was one home basketball game before the end of the year, which was tonight.  So we went to the Dixie College basketball game tonight.  With our Dixie Direct coupon, we paid zilch to get in (kids under 11 are free).  The game didn't start until 7:30, so it was maybe a little late for a school night.  We didn't get home until 9:45.  Frank and Elise had a great time.  Elise was praticing her cheerleader moves by the end of the game, and Frank could at any moment tell you how many points different the scores were.  He followed the game pretty well, and would cheer when the appropriate team made a point.  There was also much goofing off, climbing over chairs, taking trips to the drinking fountain, and occasionally sliding down the railings.  I was a little surpised that some usher didn't tell them to knock it off, but based on general attendance, I think maybe they're just glad to have people show up.  I think we all had a great time, and we definitely need to go again (adult tickets are only $5, so it's way cheaper than going to a movie).  Plus, I'm fairly certain it would be easy to smuggle in treats.  I'm all about treats.  If anyone wants to go with us to a game some time, let us know.  There are some games in Jan/Feb that fall on Friday or Saturday nights...
