Elise's Dance Recital

Elise's dance recital was June 1st and 2nd.  I really love the studio where she takes dance, but I really hate how seriously they take their recitals.  The week of the recital, they had rehearsal every single day.  Some days for over two hours.  That's a lot of dancing for a four year old.  I hate it.  Elise loves it.  She loves to perform on the "big stage."  Here she is all ready for her performance.

Curls like these take forever...

It takes forever to curl her hair.  Dance recital day is like the one day of the year I curl her hair.  She loves it when it is curled, but lucky for me she is sensible enough that she doesn't want to endure that torture every day.
Her dance was really cute.  She takes the whole thing very seriously.  I might post a clip of the video when I get it.  I think they'll be ready next week or so.  (They have a professional dude record the performance and then sell DVD's. It's great for people like me who have no desire to tape it ourselves.  The quality is good, and Elise loves to watch the performance over and over again...)
