just say no

I never get those free cookies for my kids when I'm shopping. It's not for any particular reason, I just don't think about it. Today, Elise saw another little girl with a cookie, and she really wanted one. We were near the bakery so I figured, why not? That was a mistake. By the time we got home she looked like this:
I didn't have any wet wipes with me. (Side note: what self respecting mother of a small child doesn't not have wet wipes around, not even in the car???) I would like to note that she also had chocolate all over her legs. Now I have a reason to say no to the free cookies.

    which store were you at? I just say no to free cookies with chocolate...the others are just fine with me!

    Were they Albertsons cookies? They may be chocolaty, but they're gooood.
    PS I am often found without baby wipes, though I'm not sure I can be classified as "self-respecting", so I'm not sure I can vindicate you.

    Shelly! Obviously I'm not a blogstalker, or I would have found yours earlier! I love your witty observations! Another thing you should "Just Say No" to: PopTarts in church. Bad. Very bad.
