Frank was, well Frank. Though he chose all the games, he refused to participate in most of them. I think he spent most of the time like this:
The highlight for me was a little game called "Dough Boy". It involved putting very large t-shirts on little kids and stuffing them full of balloons.
Frank had a Bowser cake. It was a near catastrophe (I was having a really hard time getting the outline done, and eventually ended up screaming my head off at my kids... here's a little real life for you, Angie), but I think it turned out cute in the end. And it was loaded with frosting, so the kids loved it. I am totally excited Frank is five, I think primarily because I'm excited for him to start school.
oh yeah...dough boy HAD to be a hit! I think that would be fun for me! The cake is awesome!
ReplyDeleteGotta love that "real life" stuff...Happy Birthday Sir Frank!
That cake looks amazing. Happy Belated Birthday to Frank!
ReplyDeleteWell, I can imagine when creating a masterpiece like that, it's difficult to remain level headed with interfering children. I'm guessing you're not interested in decorating a mad scientist cake....
