My baby is two. Or, as she says "One-Two." It takes her a minute to remember, so she just hyphenates. Or, I assume she's hyphenating. Maybe that's not what she's thinking. My favorite thing about Elise right now is her vocabulary and awesome ability to form sentences, so maybe she really is thinking about that hyphen. Anyway, here she is, ready to go to the park for her party. Isn't she adorable?

And here she is blowing out her candles. Thanks to the wind for helping out with that process. She never could have gotten it on her own.

And here is her cake. She requested a kitty, and I figured, as far as cats go, this is about as simple as it gets. She loved it!

And now, thankfully, we are done with birthdays until March. Hurray!
Strong work, Shelly. I forgot that Elise was the same age as my niece Lily; but I sincerely doubt Elise had a mini-breakdown when you sang Happy Birthday to her! ;O)
ReplyDeleteNice cake! She is getting so big and cuter all the time! So... do you have any cake decorating advice for me? With Amy out of town I can't pay her to make me look good this year, so I have to do it all on my own and the odds of it actually looking edible are slim to none.
ReplyDeleteLooking at that cake is really making me sorry I didn't manage to hit you up for the mad scientist cake. I hope Elise has an excellent time being one-two.
