But I never really managed to get much. School parades are not the best time to try to snap costume pictures. Anyway, beyond that, I didn't take any pictures. Besides, they both WANTED to wear the same costumes this year, so I can just sub pictures from last year if I need to.
We went trick or treating at the district office again this year. Love it. They always insist upon taking a picture, so here is photographic evidence that we did in fact celebrate Halloween:
In this picture, everyone. I'm the ghost. I should probably have painted my neck white too. Oh well. Maybe next year.
We also did the trunk or treat thing Friday night.
Saturday, we attempted trick or treating in my mom's neighborhood. We made it to four house before Frank said he wanted to go back to grandma's house. Elise said she wanted to keep going, so I took her to the next house. When the man opened the door and tried to hand her a Kit Kat, she said something to the effect of "I don't want anymore candy." At which point, we went back to my mom's house. My kids seriously love trick or treating.

ReplyDeleteYour blog and your childrens' antics crack Joseph and me up!
ReplyDeleteYeah . . . we made it to about 5 houses before Benji had a total breakdown. I took him back to my sister's house, put him in the high chair, and he promptly fell asleep. I love it.
ReplyDeleteKate was the opposite. She was kind of over the trick or treat thing, but LOVED going to people's houses. It's a great picture, though. All cute grandkids.
