Geometry is like a cousin that you sort of really like, but you don't care enough about to keep in touch.
Algebra is like a neighbor that you see every day.
Calculus is like your best friend, who happens to be bringing you chocolate to eat.
Statistics is like the person in your ward who is super annoying, and you avoid them like the plague until they are assigned to be your visiting teaching partner.  There's no happy ending here.
