So during the past two months I have pretty much ignored "housekeeping." I have homework, man, who wants to clean? The downstairs bathroom sort of became "the room which I never entered". Seriously. I didn't even want to open the door. No one in the family except Frank would use it. Elise is not particularly oc or anything, she just heard me and Aaron talking about how we should just baricade the door, cut our losses, and pretend the room no longer existed. She wants to be like me, and what she gleaned from the conversation is that the downstairs bathroom is gross and she should use the upstairs one.
Anyway, yesterday, I finally got that "I have to clean my house because it is disgusting and I will go insane if I allow it to remain that way" bug. I must have stared at my kitchen floor a little too long or something. Long story short, I cleaned a lot yesterday when I should have been doing my homework. The end result of all this s that the downstairs bathroom has been restored to its former glory, and I didn't finish my homework until about 1 am.
I'm a night owl, and there's nothing wrong with 1 am in itself. It's a lovely time of night. 1 am only becomes a problem when 4 am nightmares roll around. Not my nightmares. Elise. She comes in almost everynight lately. I have enough perspecive to realize that "everynight" is usually just a few nights, but in the middle of "everynight" it sure does seem like it won't ever end. Anyway, she did not want to go back to her bed, so she ended up sleeping (or laying there awake wiggling) in my bed. Then a bit later, Frank came in scared to death by his nightmare. He climbed in too, and that makes all four of us in one little bed. Not so cool for actual sleeping. Luckily Frank is totally awesome, and he only lay there long enough to feel better and then ran back to his own bed. Elise is more difficult to extract from the situation. She sort of loves the shared bed thing. I just have to remember it won't last forever, and I probably shouldn't stay up super late doing homework.

We had one of those bathrooms at our house in Logan. It became (and is still known as) "the boys bathroom." I go in there on occasion, but I still avoid it.
